Washington and I couldn&#8217;t believe the weather that we had. Not only was it entirely clear and probably in the upper 50&#8217;s or close to 60 degrees, but there was also absolutely no wind up there. I&#8217;ve never been above the tree line where it was completely calm like that. In any case we hiked down to the shelter and there were surprisingly a couple of other groups of hikers setting up camp there as well. We made some dinner, hung around the fire for a bit and turned in early. [...]</description>
