On Saturday, like I said, we went up to the top of Mt. Washington and I couldn’t believe the weather that we had. Not only was it entirely clear and probably in the upper 50’s or close to 60 degrees, but there was also absolutely no wind up there. I’ve never been above the tree line where it was completely calm like that. In any case we hiked down to the shelter and there were surprisingly a couple of other groups of hikers setting up camp there as well.
